Bungalow Studio is a place that is at once physical, virtual, and traveling. Since 1980, principal Sandy Sorlien has explored all fifty states, collecting the traditional wisdom of American rural landscapes, small towns, and city neighborhoods. Since 2004 she has worked intensively with the new urbanist SmartCode created by Duany Plater-Zyberk and Company for the zoning and design of walkable mixed-use neighborhoods.
