You must know Leggings. But do you know Leggings or shants? Well, simply, Leggings + Jeans = Jeggings, Sheer+Pants=Shants. When a new word appears, there is a new trend in fashion circles. It could be a new fashion element, a fashion trend or just a short fad. Fashion trends are going to come and go, usually quite quickly. What may be in this fall may totally be out of style by next spring. This is why you should invest in quality basic pieces for your wardrobe like jeans, black pants, and a cardigan, and try to find inexpensive pieces for trendy wear. This is especially true if you are a teenager or a college student with a very limited budget for clothing. Remember that just like any other woman, not all plus size women are shaped the same. Some women may be a triangle shape as they may carry more weight in their lower body while some other women may be a reversed triangle and be wider on the top than on the bottom. The most important aspect of men's fashion jeans is the fit. No matter how good or expensive your jeans are, it just won't go well unless you fit into it. You need to choose your jeans depending on your body type and style. The length of the jeans should reach the floor minus your shoes. One may think that it may be futile to be buying designer clothing for children when they are so hard on their clothing at the younger age. The retort to this would be because the Juicy Couture line is so well made and so durable that withstands just about anything that the kids can throw at it. The only reason one would not continue to wear a juicy Couture outfit as a child would be simply because they have outgrown it. There is also a story about a New York native who first buttoned his collar to his shirt because he hated how it moved with the wind. Unknowingly, they said, he created the first button down shirt. Whatever the real story behind button down shirts is no longer an issue because they are only appreciated now as fashion valuables both for formal and casual wear. One temptation we usually fall short of resisting while shopping for gifts is being concerned more about pleasing ourselves rather than pleasing the person we're buying gifts for. This is also probably why sometimes, we don't feel so appreciated. This scenario can be avoided, though, by making sure we buy gifts thinking about how they will make the other person happy instead of forcing our own taste and preferences into the choices we make. This is one of the many reasons why lace wigs are starting to become all the rage. Not only does a lace wig look like your own hair, but if applied correctly, it can be maintained as a wash and go style for a extended period of time. You can also get any style, texture or length you want and the piece can also be custom made and dyed to your liking. Apply lace wig solvent. There are many solvents available on the market that are specially made for lace wigs. These solvents can and will soften adhesives for easier removal. If you can't afford a solvent, isopropyl alcohol works just fine. To apply solvent or alcohol to the wig, use a q tip, make up applicator or small brush and rub along the front and back hairline. gently tug, rubbing more solvent at resistant areas. Keep doing this until you feel the grip of the wig lessening enough to pull free of the skin. The wig won't simply slide off with a pull after a solvent is used. Rather, you may have to carefully tug at small sections of the wig to get it to come up. Take care when tugging, as you don't want to tear the delicate lace. If you do damage it, don't worry, some lace wig sellers also offer lace wig repair services. Gently detach the wig. As tempting as it will be to just pull the wig off once the glue is loosened, that could be a mistake. You may have to have missed a couple of areas where the bond is still reasonably secure and end up tearing the wig. If you grow impatient with the process, just remind yourself that you have spent a considerable mount of money on your hairpiece. Replacing and repairing it could be expensive. With painstaking care, use your your fingers to grab one area and pull on it, again dotting the resistant spots with solvent until you feel the glue loosen its hold. Once you know for sure that the unit (and any plastered hair) is free, you may cautiously remove it from your head. Clean your skin. Olive oil is great for removing the glue that is left on the skin and hair (if you managed to get glue on your natural hair) and you can work it into the glue with your fingertips. Any kind or brand will do, as we merely wish to use it to make the glue less sticky. Once you have managed to get a large portion of the adhesive off, use soap and water to remove any excess. This may be an excellent time to hop in the shower and wash your own hair prior to re applying the wig. Clean skin and oil free hair make the wig setting last longer and is just downright healthy for your scalp. Wash and clean the wig. This could be your time to wash and condition the piece. Although you can wash it while it is on your head, it is better to agitate the wig in the sink with a mild shampoo followed by a light, oil free conditioner. Use a wide wig brush to untangle hair and try not to pull on the unit you don't want it to shed. Allow it to air dry, but if you need to be able to wear it in a hurry, you can sit the lace front on a wig stand and set it under a hooded dryer until it is ready to be placed back on your head. If, after it dries, you still notice a bit of residue on the wig, you can take a hand held mirror and slide the glued area of the wig on it like magic, the glue will rub off onto the mirror. When done, you can clean the mirror and prepare to replace the unit onto your head if so desired. Air Jordan 3 Powder Blue,Seaside FM started out quietly, with Wayne Harrett and a few friends whispering into the Eastern Passage air on a one watt radio. Last year, the community station cranked up the volume and broadcast its message across HRM at 1,000 watts. Well, probably isn the right word for a station beloved for rolling out easy listening classics. It also known as the go to spot for missing pet information. started as a little hobby, says Harrett, the general manager who had previously spent six years on Halifax only other community station, Dalhousie University CKDU. started hearing it and it took off. A hobby turned into a business. FM (105.9) is run per cent by volunteers, including on air talent such as former CBC broadcasters Frank Cameron and Paul Kennedy and former MLA Wayne Adams. Do You Want Buy Air Jordan 3 Powder Blue,Air Jordan 10 Charlotte Bobcats This is a personal list of inventions I am waiting to see produced. Make them real and you'll have at least one customer. 1. Air conditioned jacket. I noticed one hot day that the fan didn't cool me nearly as well when I was shirt less as when I wore a jacket or shirt and let the fan blow into it. This directed the cooling breeze all around my torso and arms (the air escapes out the bottom, collar and sleeves). A jacket with a small battery operated fan would do the same thing. Wear a wet t shirt underneath and the circulating air would make it downright chilly in there. 2. A money sanitizer. Viruses and more are spread by the handling of bills. A simple machine, using either heat or a disinfecting agent, could make those bills safe to handle. 3. Artificial foot soles. Hikers and backpackers get blisters from friction. Feet slide and move in shoes and get "hot spots" that become blisters. The solution? Insoles that are glued to the bottom of your feet. These might be made of felt or some other material. This product would need a solvent for easy removal. Perhaps they could be reused, gluing and removing them repeatedly, like dentures are used. 4. Morbid soda. There are those who like the darker side of things. Why not have soft drinks with plastic animal embryos in them? Make them too large to come out of the bottle, to prevent choking. 5. Fully padded snow sleds. Sledding can be painful and dangerous. The solution may be to fully pad a sled, and provide some kind of safety harness, so even after flipping over the rider can remain uninjured. 6. Television goggles. We put headphones on to listen to music wherever we go. Why not have goggles that have a television screen inside them? 7. Insult toilet paper. Who do you want to use and flush down the toilet? Politicians would probably be well represented on the list of faces printed on this toilet paper. 8. Tiny poetry books. These mini books would be ideal for attaching to bottles of wine, as a romantic novelty. They could also be sold with bouquets of roses, and boxes of chocolates. 9. Kites for boats. Sail boats are complicated, with their masts, booms, and keels. What if you want a simple way to propel your canoe or rowboat across that lake, using the wind? A large kite could be the answer. Make it like a para sail, and it would be light to carry and simple to use. (This is really a partial list of inventions I want to see made. There are many more things I am waiting for, from flying bicycles to in the home grocery stores.) Air Jordan 3 Powder Blue You don't have to be part of a nuclear family to be a foster carer. LISA WACHSMUTH spoke to two Illawarra women who are flying solo. As the third eldest of 10 children in her native Ireland, Marian Ridgeway can't remember a time growing up when she wasn't swaddling a baby or cradling an infant. She's since swapped the rolling, green hills of her homeland for those of Gerringong, been wed and divorced, and seen four children grow into adulthood yet the 59 year old's need to nurture endures. Which is why it has come as no surprise to anyone who knows Ridgeway, that she's ditched her day job to become a full time foster carer with the William Campbell Foundation. "I've always wanted to be a foster carer and even built my house with that dream in mind, putting in six bedrooms so there'd be plenty of room," she says. Marian Ridgeway raised four of her own children, and has three foster children aged eight, 10 and 16 in what has become a vocation for her. Pictures: GREG TOTMAN "But I didn't think I could do it on my own. It was only when I was in a good financial situation, having retired from my business, that I really looked into it and realised I could do it. "The financial, emotional and practical support you get is wonderful and I wish I'd done it sooner. I would have loved to stay at home and raise my own children, along with a couple more. "I'm sure plenty of other mums would too and they should look into it." Ridgeway has signed up to take in an age group that is hard for foster care organisations to place adolescents. She cared for two siblings for eight months before they were taken in by relatives, and now has three kids aged eight, 10 and 16 in her care. "Older children are the hardest to place with foster carers so I thought 'I'll put my hand up for that'," she says. "Because of my age I don't want to take on a baby or an infant they need to bond with one person and not be moved around all the time. Plus I'd get too attached to a little one and not want to let them go." Not that letting go of older children is easy Ridgeway was "heartbroken" when the first two foster children left her care but she knows she's helping set kids up for the next stage of their lives. "You still get attached to them, but you know your job is to settle them and prepare them so when they move onto a long term placement it will last," she says. "Unfortunately many of these kids who need foster care have come from abusive and/or violent homes and their behaviour can be challenging. "But once they're brought into a stable family home you soon see them relax. After a few months they are happy, healthy, normal kids and that's great to see." Ridgeway is one of 65 foster carers in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven trained and supported by the William Campbell Foundation. Recruitment, training and support manager Ngaere Rayner says the foster care program had expanded considerably over the past year, although more carers were needed. Rayner says it's important to find a good match between a carer and a child, someone who would give them appropriate care, be a mentor and a "sense of belonging". Rayner says foster carers can be single or partnered, male or female, working or stay at home and can take part in a range of different programs including respite, short term and long term care. For Barrack Heights single working mum Tammeka Milne, becoming a respite carer has proved a good fit. "I've got a 16 year old daughter and I always wanted more kids but didn't find another person to have a child with," she says. "I didn't think I'd be able to become a carer being a single mum who works but respite care is perfect for me." Milne provides respite care for a 12 year old boy on a regular basis, and stepped in to care for him for a month over Christmas. It's been beneficial for both, as well as for her daughter. "My aim is for him to have fun and forget about any stresses he may have in his life," she says. "It's been rewarding for me and it's been great for my daughter too she's gained new respect for what I've gone through as a single mum to care for her, and she's gained compassion and understanding for others." Milne says it's the little things that make it worthwhile such as the look on the boy's face when she bought him a pair of Nike trainers recently. "It was priceless," she says. "He's so proud of them after we went to the beach he spent an hour cleaning all the sand off them." She admits looking after a foster child also has its challenges: "It gets trying sometimes but you have to remember why you're doing it, and know you're going to help that child in the long run".
